Bunting began in 1959 as Bunting Magnetics Co., a small company in Chicago that gradually grew into a worldwide designer, supplier, and manufacturer of cutting-edge magnetic technology. With multiple locations in the United States as well as overseas, Bunting is entirely focused on providing total magnetic solutions in the form of custom magnets and magnetic assemblies for industries including the automotive, medical, consumer electronic, and aerospace industries, as well as serving unique military, industrial, and commercial applications.
You may have known us before under the name “Magnet Applications.” In celebration of Bunting’s 60th anniversary, all branches of the company were united under the new name “Bunting” as part of a rebranding campaign. The decision to rebrand was made with the goal of uniting all companies associated with the Bunting brand under one name, eliminating confusion for customers and establishing the Bunting brand as a world force. We hope that when people hear the name Bunting, they will immediately think of the company dedicated to providing the best customer service and highest quality magnets, magnetic assemblies, and magnetic equipment in the industry.
Bunting-DuBois undertakes a wide range of design contracts and our expertise covers the complete range of permanent magnet materials, including; alnico, ferrite, samarium cobalt, neodymium iron boron, through numerous production routes, including sintering, extrusion, calendaring, compression bonding and injection molding.
